Information we use
BareBones stores your meal preferences, skipped ingredients, prep style, household size, meal swaps, and checklist progress so the app can personalize your keto plan.
Analytics and performance
BareBones may collect basic app events such as onboarding progress, paywall actions, meal completion, grocery progress, weekly refresh use, crashes, and performance signals through Firebase and other app infrastructure providers. We use this to improve reliability, retention, and product quality.
Notifications
Notifications are optional. If you enable them, the app may use a device notification token to send meal reminders, weekly refresh prompts, streak milestones, and plan nudges.
On-device settings
Some preferences and plan state are saved on your device so the app can remember your setup between sessions.
Support email
If you contact support, we use the information you send to reply and troubleshoot your request.
Purchases
Subscription product details, price, trial eligibility, purchase status, renewal status, and restore purchases may be checked through Apple and RevenueCat so BareBones can unlock paid features and show accurate account status.
Account sync
If backend sync is enabled, Firebase Auth and Convex may store an anonymous app user ID and the app state needed to sync preferences, progress, meal swaps, weekly plans, device tokens, and subscription entitlements across app sessions.

Meal plans, macros, and keto guidance are for informational meal-planning support only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
No sale of personal data
BareBones is designed for meal planning. We do not sell your personal meal preferences or support messages.
Retention and deletion
We keep app data only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain purchases, support users, and meet legal or operational requirements. To request deletion or privacy help, contact support@barebonesketo.app.
